High marks again from magazine for Rome Health nursing home

We want to congratulate Rome Health for being saluted by U.S. News & World Report as a Best Nursing Home for the third consecutive year.

“We are honored that U.S. News & World Report recognized Rome again in its 2021-22 rankings. Our person-centered philosophy creates an environment where our team is empowered to provide the highest quality of care.” said Residential Health Care Facility Administrator Anthony Joseph. “This recognition is a testament to the clinical excellence and compassionate care that our dedicated employees provide on a daily basis. We provide the best care out there.”

Rome Health’s RHCF earned Best Nursing Home status by achieving a rating of “High Performing,” the highest possible rating, for short-term rehabilitation. The RHCF is also rated 5-stars by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and has been ranked in the top 20% of skilled nursing facilities for seven consecutive years by the New York State Nursing Home Quality Initiative.

Rome Health provides short-term rehabilitation for individuals recovering from surgery, an illness or an accident to improve their function and strength so they can return home. Rome Health also provides respite care and long-term care on its third floor 80-bed skilled nursing facility.

This rating by U.S. News & World report is significant because the magazine awards the Best Nursing Homes designation only to those homes that satisfy U.S. News’s assessment of the appropriate use of key services and consistent performance in quality measures.
