HarborFest showcases marina with live music, food, fireworks
FRANKFORT — The second annual Frankfort HarborFest is from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday Sept. 24 at Frankfort Marina, 122 Marina Park Drive. The event is free.
There will be a farmers market from 11 a.m. to dusk; live music from Grit N Grace from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Joey Fiato from 2 to 6 p.m. and Last Left from 7 to 10 p.m.; the Zoo Mobile from 1 to 3 p.m.; an awards presentation and sponsor recognition from 3 to 4 p.m.; DJ Jasy from 4 to 7 p.m. and fireworks at 10 p.m. There is also a car show and vintage snowmobile show in the morning with awards given.
Vendors from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. include Fratello’s beer/wine/seltzers and Heelpath craft beer and the Uncle Ray’s, Salamone’s, Lunar Links, Fried Dough, Lunar Links, The Grapevine, Captain Bard’s, Teddy’s, Brenda’s Cotton Candy, K Dogs and Space Out Gastro food trucks.
The HarborFest is a way for the Village of Frankfort to give back to the Mohawk Valley while showcasing the Frankfort Marina, which is one of only two natural inlets on the canal system. The event is funded 100% by private sponsorship.
