NEW HARTFORD — Rep. Claudia L. Tenney, R-22, New Hartford will host the next installation of her monthly webinar series at 6 p.m. tonight with expert guests from the Department of Homeland Security Office of Homeland Security Investigations who will cover, among other topics, their efforts to protect children’s online activity.
The Homeland Security Investigations often works with schools directly to help support online privacy for children. Participants will have an opportunity to hear from these experts and ask questions regarding this and other topics, the announcement said.
The webinar will be held via the Zoom platform. To participate, RSVP by email to RSVP_NY22@mail.house.gov. Participants should submit any questions in advance with the RSVP email, or by calling Tenney’s Utica District Office at 315-732-0713.
Participants who register in advance will receive a link to the Zoom meeting.
This seminar is part of Tenney’s monthly webinar series, in which the congresswoman seeks to connect area residents to resources and support at the federal level. This is the ninth webinar Tenney’s office has hosted. An archive of Tenney’s monthly seminars can be found at https://tenney.house.gov/issues/monthly-seminar.
