Hamilton College freshman Ramon Aroca Gonzalez  has been selected for the 2023 Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Division III Men's All-Freshman Team.

Aroca Gonzalez is one of just seven first-year golfers on the team. Earlier this month he made the GCAA Division III PING All-Region Team.

Aroca Gonzalez led Hamilton with an 18-hole stroke average of 72.59 for 17 rounds. He was the individual medalist in five tournaments and finished in the top 10 in eight out of nine events. He tied for sixth place out of 50 golfers at the 2023 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Golf Championship. Aroca Gonzalez is 42nd in Golfstat's NCAA Division III Player Rankings.

In addition to the all-region honors, Aroca Gonzalez was voted the NESCAC Player and Golfer of the Year in early May.
