Gubernatorial hopeful Zeldin makes stop in Utica

UTICA — The Oneida County Republican Committee and Oneida County Young Republicans hosted a weekend rally in Utica for Republican gubernatorial nominee Lee Zeldin and his running mate for lieutenant governor Alison Esposito.

“It was an honor to be joined by Lee Zeldin and Alison Esposito in Utica once again. As events of the last week have shown they are the ticket that will save New York from crime, bail reform, inflation and out of control gas prices,” said Pat O’Brien, president of the Oneida County Young Republicans.

“We thank them for coming to Oneida County and pledge to work with their team and the Oneida County Republican Committee to make sure Kathy Hochul and Antonio Delgado are defeated in November,” OBrien added.

“I’d also like to thank Oneida County Republican Chairman Pete Sobel and his team for their continued support of Young Republicans and candidates like Lee Zeldin,” O’Brien said. “By working together we will all ensure there is a red wave in November.”

According to O’Brien, Zeldin and Esposito were joined by nearly 100 supporters and several elected officials and candidates from across Oneida County. Zeldin and Esposito were introduced by Oneida County Executive Anthony J. Picente Jr. and state Sen. Joseph A. Griffo, R-47, Rome.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 8.
