Greensky Bluegrass jams at the Stanley
UTICA — The chart-topping five-piece jam band Greensky Bluegrass performs their American bluegrass at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15 at the Stanley Theatre, 259 Genesee St.
Greensky Bluegrass features Anders Beck on dobro, Michael Arlen Bont on banjo, Dave Bruzza on guitar, Mike Devol on upright bass and Paul Hoffman on mandolin. They have earned critical acclaim from Billboard, Parade, National Public Radio and Rolling Stone, who hailed them as “representing the genre for a whole new generation.”
Since their 2000 formation in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the quintet have unassumingly progressed into a phenomenon on their own terms with the undying support of a devout audience.
Rolling back and forth across North America on successive tours, they recently sold out three nights at Red Rocks in Colorado, a feat unheard of in their genre.
In 2019, “All For Money” marked their second No. 1 debut on the Billboard Top Bluegrass Albums Chart and third straight Top 3 entry.
Tickets start at $31.50. For tickets or more information, visit www.thestanley.org.
