UTICA — The Greater Utica Sports Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for its Class of 2022.

The deadline to submit nominations is Wednesday, June 1. Nominations can be made at www.greateruticasports.com/hall-of-famers/nominate.

The Hall of Fame has inducted more than notable 185 athletes and sports personalities and has honored several outstanding teams from the Mohawk Valley since its inception in 1990. The induction banquet is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 25.

The Hall of Fame also presents two $1,000 scholarships each year to area scholastic student-athletes, including the Laura Bradley Scholarship. The organization also administers the Billy Mills Scholarship, the D’Alessandro Family Scholarship and the Peter DeStefano Scholarship.
