UTICA — The Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce hosted its 125th Annual Meeting for their members on Tuesday, April 5, at the Delta Hotel by Marriott in Utica. Guests enjoyed food and beverage, music by Spencer Morgan, a champagne toast and a celebration of the Chamber’s accomplishments over the past year in addition to conducting business.

On Sept. 2, 1896, the Utica Chamber of Commerce was incorporated by the Secretary of State in New York. Kari Puleo, the current Executive Director of the Chamber, stated at the meeting that “we must begin by thanking all of our members, past and present, and our entire community for showing your support to our organization. It is our goal to foster a prosperous economic climate that will enhance commercial growth as well as quality of life for all residents that reside in the Greater Utica region, and we cannot do that without the support of you, our members.”

Additional events to celebrate the anniversary will include a Clambake on Thursday, July 21 and the Greater Utica Chamber’s Choo Choo Golf Tournament on Friday, Aug. 19.
