CLINTON — Sheriff Robert M. Maciol announced a new grant to purchase slow-moving vehicle signs for local farmers.

Maciol said the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee provided the funding to purchase several reflective traffic triangles to attach to tractors and other slow-moving farm vehicles. The symbols and the reflective striping will be made available to farmers who don’t already have them.

Maciol also announced a series of farm safety seminars held Friday and Saturday at Clinton Tractor & Implement Company on Meadow Street.
