Grand larceny, endangering the welfare of a child among Madison County arrests

The Madison County Sheriff's Office announced the following recent arrests:

• Darrell F. Stevens, 59, of Canastota, was charged in Canastota on Aug. 11 with one count each of fourth-degree grand larceny and petty larceny.

• William F. Phillips, 32, of Canastota, was charged in Lenox on Aug. 14 with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of fourth-degree mischief.

• Joseph A. Ponto, 50, of Canastota, was charged in Canastota on Aug. 10 with one count of seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance.
