Good luck to Rome native Gabriel Day, who is competing for a top award in the gospel music world.
Day’s gospel album — “Church” — a 10-song collection released in January of this year, is in the running for a 2020 Stellar Award, the gospel music community’s award recognizing achievements in the industry.
Day, who attended Rome Free Academy, said through song writing and singing he “takes the love of God … and brings God’s love to the people.” Through his music, Day said he shares his personal testimony with listeners.
Today is the last day for voting on the Stellar Award. Online votes can be entered at: www.thestellarawards.com. After clicking on the “Stellar Awards Final Ballot,” Day’s name can be found in section number 23 of the ballot as: Rap/Hip Hop Gospel Album of the Year. Album title - Church; Artist - Gabriel Day; Label - Last Trump LLC.
Day says working on his music has been a fulfilling progression: “a little journey.” We’re sure he will attain more success on his “journey” in the gospel music world.
