Gold Dust Gypsies play Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks solo at Kallet
ONEIDA — Gold Dust Gypsies play a tribute to favorite Fleetwood Mac and Steve Nicks songs at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 4 at the Kallet Civic Center, 159 Main St.
“We cover music of Fleetwood Mac from the beginning with Peter Green, all the way up to their prime with Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, and also songs from Stevie’s solo career,” said singer Lisa Lee, who channels Nicks during the show.
The seven-piece band is based in Syracuse, featuring popular musicians from central New York and England who have joined together to create Gold Dust Gypsies, Lee said. The Kallet concert will be their first appearance of 2023.
Lee, aka Lisa Pease, was born and raised in Rome, then lived in Oriskany before moving to Syracuse in 1999. She said she is looking forward to some reunions at the Oneida concert.
“It will be fun to see old friends and relatives at the show,” she said.
Tickets are $20 plus fees and available at www.oneidakallet.com.
