Greeting card program to benefit Arc Madison Cortland

ONEIDA — The holidays are here and the Arc Madison Cortland is celebrating by selling the holiday cards to raise funds to support local programs and services for the disabled.
Six original designs are available, each crafted by individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities within the agency’s senior program.
Each card box includes ten festive greeting cards. Inside is a clever celebratory message to welcome the holiday season. Boxes are $10 each. Purchase online at and choose from:
Snowman – “There’s snow place like home for the holidays. Happy Holidays!”
Fireplace – “The snuggle is real. Happy Holidays!”
Bells – “Happy Holidays – has a nice ring to it!”
Snowflakes – “Winter is here and it’s snow laughing matter. Happy Holidays!”
“Ugly” Reindeer Sweater – “I’m very fawn’d of you, my deer. Happy Holidays!”
Holiday Candy – “Wishing you a very sweet holiday. Happy Holidays!”
“This is one of the agency’s favorite fundraisers,” said Susan Litera, director of development and communications. “Each dollar raised by the cards goes directly back into our programming and the individuals who designed them; it truly is the gift that keeps on giving.”
In addition, The Arc Madison Cortland is also holding a Facebook contest to giveaway a mixed 12-pack of the seasonal greeting cards. To enter, visit The Arc Madison Cortland’s Facebook page at or shop online at
