ONEIDA — A full slate of proposed legislation awaits the city’s Common Council, which is expected to adopt its police reform plan at its meeting on tonight at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Kallet Civic Center at 159 Main St.
Among the items on the meeting agenda include:
Polling Places
Designate the polling places in the City of Oneida for 2021; Wards 1 and 2 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church and Wards 3, 4, 5 and 6 at the Kallet Civic Center.
Police Reform Plan
Approve the City of Oneida Police Reform Plan.
Surplus
Authorize the Fire Chief to sell surplus radios to All Season Distribution.
Water Fund Transfer
Legislation would authorize the city of Oneida comptroller to transfer $107,358.24 from the Water Fund to the Water Reserve Fund.
Budget Transfers/Amendments
Approve transfers to reallocate 2020 funds to cover costs for retirement payout Dec. 31, 2020 and to cover costs for overtime worked at the end of 2020.
Rental Fees
Approve the daytime rental fee at the Recreation Department.
