Full agenda slated for Oneida Common Council meeting

ONEIDA — A full agenda is slated for the Common Council’s regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, in the Common Council Chambers at 109 N. Main St. in Oneida.
A public hearing to Amend Chapter 5 of the Code of the City of Oneida relating to Alarm System fees will be held.
On the agenda:
Monthly reports
- Receive and place on file the monthly reports from the city clerk, city engineer, codes department, comptroller, fire department, parks and recreation department, planning department and police department.
Power authority permits and releases
- Authorize the mayor to sign permits and releases with the NYS Power Authority for the cutting of danger trees in the Town of Annsville.
- Fee schedule-Department of Planning and Development
- Approve proposed changes to the Department of Planning and Development fee schedule.
Capital Project 23-1-annual street resurfacing
- Authorize the city engineer to proceed with Capital Project 23-1; authorize the use of unit prices established for 2023 by Madison County; authorize the purchasing agent to advertise for bids for any portions of the project not covered under the county’s unit pricing; authorize the city engineer to expend funds up to the programmed amount dispersed by NYSDOT (CHIPS, PAVENY, ERW) and authorize the mayor to sign any and all documents related to Capital Project 23-1.
2022 sidewalk replacement program-terms of payment
- To establish terms for owner or owners’ payment for their portion of the construction associated with the 2022 sidewalk replacement program.
Budget transfers/amendments
- Approve the budget transfers and amendments as outlined by the comptroller.
Lease agreement
- Authorize the comptroller to sign an agreement with Enterprise Fleet Management for a 2023 Chevrolet Traverse for the police department.
