Full agenda slated for Oneida Common Council meeting
ONEIDA — A full agenda is slated for the Common Council’s regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, in the Common Council Chambers at 109 N. Main St. in Oneida.
On the agenda:
Monthly reports
Receive and place on file the monthly reports from the city clerk, city engineer, codes department, comptroller, fire department, parks and recreation department, planning department and police department.
Due process hearings
Designate Common Council as due process hearing officers.
Introduce local law
Introduce a local law to amend Chapter 172 of the Oneida City Code relative to the Traffic Safety Board.
Retiree health insurance renewal
Authorize the mayor to sign the Retiree Health Insurance Renewal Plan for 2023 with Humana Medicare Advantage Plan Renewal.
Lake Street Pump Station improvements
Authorize funding for Lake Street Pump Station improvements.
Agreement (PBA)
Approve the Collective Bargaining Agreement by and between the city of Oneida and the John R. Deschamps Sr. PBA, as ratified, for the period of Jan. 1, 2022 through Dec. 31, 2024.
Water Board recommendations
• Approve the recommendation from the Oneida City Water Board to credit the city of Sherrill $1,754.34 in late fees charged associated with the April water bill.
• Approve the recommendation from the Oneida City Water Board to credit the village of Vernon $3,629.99 in late fees charged associated with the May water bill.
• Approve the recommendation from the Oneida City Water Board to credit Mary Ann Reed, 506 Seneca St., Oneida $9.78 and $8.93 for late fees associated with two water bill accounts associated with the March water bill.
Concerts in the Park
Authorize the mayor to sign various agreements for the 2022 summer Concerts in the Park Program, as they are received, for a total amount not to exceed $5,000.
