TOWN OF VERNON — In light of the coronavirus pandemic, Big Frog 104’s FrogFest has been rescheduled.
The 2020 Frogfest, previously scheduled for Saturday, May 30 at Utica Rome Speedway, will be rescheduled to Saturday, Sept. 19 with the same lineup: Eli Young Band, Stephanie Quayle, Dylan Jakobsen and Alexandria Corn.
The decision to move FrogFest is based on the evolving COVID-19 public health threat, Frogfest’s ability to ensure the event does not contribute to the spread of the pandemic, and the impracticality of hosting such a large event in May given on-going guidelines and protocols put forth by public health officials.
Those who have tickets are asked to hold onto them. They will be honored for the Sept. 19 show. Refunds will be offered to those who are unable to attend the new date.
Refund requests must be submitted by Friday, May 8 at 11:59 p.m. for anyone who purchased tickets online using a credit card. For those who purchased in-person with cash, Frogfest will have further details on how to obtain a refund when it is considered safe to once again conduct transactions with the general public. But for the time-being, Frogfest offices are closed. For more information, go online to: bigfrog104.com
