The Adirondack Economic Development Corporation will be offering free, virtual entrepreneurship training starting next month, according to corporation officials.

The virtual training sessions will last for 10 weeks, from Sept. 7 to Nov. 16. The sessions will go from 5:30 to 8 p.m. AEDC officials and partner experts will lead the sessions, concentrating on the best ways to start or grow a small business.

“We are so excited to bring this training once again to our region, this year in an entirely virtual format,” said Victoria Duley, AEDC executive director.

“Entrepreneurs are a vital part of our economy and this program provides a great jump-start opportunity for enrollees.”

The classes have been taught annually for nearly 20 years, officials said. The classes will be conducted via the web application Zoom, and will feature multiple experts in different areas of business.

Participants will also have one-on--one access to business counselors for technical assistance.

The program is open to all New York residents.

To register for the class, email sdonaldson@aedconline.com or call 518-891-5523.
