LOWVILLE — Cornell Cooperative Extension of Lewis County and the state Department of Agricultural and Markets are partnering to provide supplies to benefit the health and safety of farmers and their employees.
Producers are eligible for free face masks and hand sanitizer (in 2 ounces and 1-gallon containers).
Production farms of any type are encouraged to participate, including farm stands, CSA’s, greenhouses, and u-pick operations.
Site location for pick-up is located at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Lewis Office at the Lewis County Education Center. The garage at 7395 East Road will be the distribution point. Arrangements can be made for direct contact farm delivery if necessary.
The sign-up process is simple and can be done by contacting CCE Lewis at 315-376-5270 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Farmers must sign up for your product and pick-up times. The product will be handed out every Wednesday for three weeks during August:
