Free Big Band concert Sunday


HAMILTON — The Palace Theater in Hamilton will host Glenn Cashman’s Big Band East on Sunday, Oct. 21 at 3:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Band leader Glenn Cashman is an associate professor of music at Colgate University, whose bands plays a variety of jazz, samba, and rhythm and blues.

The band is comprised of Mike Dubaniewicz, Bob Cesari, Glenn Cashman, Mike Carbone, and Bill Pomares on the saxophone; Rob Robson, Nate Kaercher, Doug Keith, and Jeff Stockham on the trumpet; Bill Palange, Angelo Candela, Marty Hollister, and Mark Anderson on the trombone; Rick Montalbano on the piano; with bassist Darryl Pugh and drummer Jimmy Johns.
