Frankfort-Schuyler hosts health fair
FRANKFORT — The Frankfort-Schuyler Community Health and Wellness Fair took place this week to highlight the importance of individuals taking care of their mental, physical and emotional well-being.
The event was organized by Frankfort-Schuyler School District Social Worker Jeana Penree and counselors Andrea Cordero and Nicole Ruddy. Among partners were: Herkimer Arc; The Central Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired; Catholic Charities (Runaway and Homeless Youth); Mohawk Valley Prevention Council; Center for Family Life and Recovery; Compeer; Community Health and Behavioral Services; MCAT; Neighborhood Center CGC; ICAN; Health Homes and Herkimer County System of Care; Cornell Cooperative Ext.; The Fitness Mill; Fitness Farmacy; Jackie Laflair Wellness; Sherri Spina — Mindfulness; Beacon Center; Bassett Healthcare; YWCA; New York State Police; Fidelis Care; Excellus BCBS; Herkimer County Children’s Single Point of Access; American Foundation for Suicide Prevention; DRN Counseling and Consulting; and The Veterans Boxing Association.
