Four face charges after Canastota drug raid
CANASTOTA — Four people are facing charges — including two with multiple felony drug charges — following a raid in Canastota on Friday, according to the Madison County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff's deputies said they executed a search warrant on the upstairs apartment at 300 E. North Canal St. Friday morning, following a length investigation into drug sales at the residence. Deputies said they seized 7.9 ounces of methamphetamine, a stun gun, scales, packaging materials and a quantity of cash.
Diane Clark, 39, of Canastota, and Robert Hopkins, 31, of Oneida, are both charged with one count each of second, third, fourth, fifth and seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance, as well as second-degree use of drug paraphernalia, deputies said.
Albert Fabian, 60, of Canastota, is charged with one count of fourth-degree possession of a weapon.
Tyler Collins, 34, of Bouckville, is charged with seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance, authorities stated.
All four are scheduled to appear in court.
