SNAPSHOT: Four area runners compete in Glavin 3000

INVITATIONAL COMPETITORS — Four local runners earned invitations to the Glavin 3000 at the Hilton High School on Saturday. From left: Mallory Kraeger, Lizzy Lucason, Lexi Bernard and Brynn Bernard. Lucason is from Camden and the others are from South Lewis. Each year, the top distance runners from Section III, IV and V are invited to compete. Lucason was fifth (10:19.92), Brynn Bernard seventh (10:25.61), Lexi Bernard 10th (10:29.84) and Kraeger 14th (10:42.69). Kraeger set a new outdoor personal best time in the event.
