HOLLAND PATENT — Foothills Food Pantry is seeking donations of garden seeds to be distributed to pantry clients for spring garden planting.
The effort was started last year on a small scale and was well-received, organizers said. Several clients reported they were proud of their efforts and provided pictures, sharing some of their surplus results with the pantry for distribution.
Foothills Rural Community Ministry have set their hours for the month of February. These hours will also apply to Sarah’s Pet Pantry and the Country Corner Thrift Shop, programs offered by Foothills Rural Community Ministry located at the Presbyterian Church.
The programs will offer their services on Wednesday, Feb. 7 from 4-6 p.m. The Country Corner Thrift Store is not open on the Wednesday dates.
The services will also be available on the first three Saturdays in February, which include Feb. 3, 10, and 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The ministry will be open on the fourth Thursday, Feb. 22.
The Country Corner Thrift Store, which is open to the public, offers good used clothing and small household items at reasonable prices. Bag sales will be available the first and third Saturdays in February.
