Foothills Rural Food Pantry, pet pantry announces April hours

HOLLAND PATENT — Foothills Rural Food Pantry, Sarah’s Pet Pantry and The County Corner Thrift Shop, located at the Presbyterian Church, have released their April hours.

The Food Pantry, Sarah’s Pet Pantry and The Country Corner Thrift Shop are open the next two Saturdays and the fourth Thursday of the month, April 25, all from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bag Sale Days in The Country Corner Thrift Shop are now every Saturday they are open.

The group is seeking donations of non-perishable food, personal care and paper products like tissues, paper towels and toilet paper.

Donations to The Food Pantry, Pet Pantry or Thrift Shop can be dropped off any of the times listed above or during office hours on Mondays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Food Pantry and Sarah’s Pet Pantry have income and geographical guidelines, while The Country Corner Thrift is open to public. For more information, call the Foothills office at 315-865-5854.

The group continues to offer cooperative food purchasing through the Food $en$e program. The Food $en$e program is a way to save on grocery bills and there are no income restrictions to purchase from the Food $en$e menu. Cash or SNAP benefits are accepted.
