Foothills pantry announces January hours

HOLLAND PATENT — Foothills Rural Community Ministry will be open from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 5, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. Jan. 8 and 15, and on Thursday, Jan. 27.

The food pantry will not be open on Saturday, Jan. 1, and is on the corner of Route 365 and Church Street in Holland Patent Presbyterian Church’s Fellowship Hall.

Guests should stay in their cars, until a volunteer speaks with them.  The groceries will be brought to the cars.

The Country Corner Thrift Shop will be open at the same time as the food pantry.  All are welcome to shop in the thrift shop, but masks must be worn while shopping.

The new year is a good time to try the Food Sense Buying Club. The January package costs $20.50. Orders must be made by Jan. 8 and the groceries will be ready to be picked up on Jan. 21 and 22. For more information call 315-865-5854 or leave a message at

Remember the FRCM building fund.  Money is being raised to relocate to a larger all-accessible building.  Donations to this fund may be sent to FRCM with the designation that it is for the new building.
