Food drive for veterans a big success, organizers say
FOOD DRIVE A SUCCESS — The Sherrill Kenwood Free Library partnered with Hood Dairy of Oneida and Clear Path for Veterans on a food drive to aid local veterans. Instead of the annual Thanksgiving dinner Clear Path hosts, the agency is making 200 “meal kits” for local veterans. In addition to groceries, grocery store gift cards and monetary donations were collected. Hood Dairy donated 100 cases of milk and 20 cases of cream. Library manager, Mary Kay Junglen and the Sherrill Kenwood Library Board of Trustees say they were honored to work with Clear Path for Veterans and thank the community for its support.
