Flannel Festival aids Foothills Food Pantry
MARCY — Foothills Food Pantry Building Campaign continues with fundraising events and its upcoming Flannel Festival on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 2 to 9 p.m., at the 12 North Sports Bar, 10125 Mulaney Road.
Attendees are invited to come and enjoy axe throwing, food trucks, music, raffles and more, while helping Foothills help those in need.
Currently located in Holland Patent, Foothills Rural Community Ministry is a non-profit, non-denominational organization that assists individuals and families in need with food, clothing and many other services and resources.
New property has been purchased, and funding is needed to level the land and build a new, larger, safer, handicapped-accessible structure to house all programs.
The new location is at 8611 Route 365 in Stittville, next to Priscilla’s Place.
