First Source honors pair as Employees of the Quarter
NEW HARTFORD — First Source Federal Credit Union has recognized Tina Skinner and Michele Boris as its Employees of the Quarter. The pair were nominated by their co-workers for consistently living First Source’s culture and values, and going above and beyond in their daily interactions.
Skinner is an underwriting team lead, and Boris is a finance team lead.
Skinner was nominated for her thoughtfulness and consideration, always adhering to the organization’s lending philosophy and working through each unique decisioning opportunity presented. She shows patience and kindness, and shares knowledge when working with other departments to make sure First Source is doing the right thing for its members, the announcement said.
Boris was nominated for her ability to easily manage several general ledgers and complex accounting needs. She ensures fellow team members are organized with all vendors being accounted for and paid on time, working with multiple departments and payment structures. She is proactive in reconciling accounts receivable and payable, ensuring we are in good standing, the announcement said, adding that Boris is celebrating her 25-year anniversary with First Source.
First Source Federal Credit Union is a full-service financial institution, with savings and loan solutions, serving members and the community since 1938, the announcement said.
First Source serves more than 60,000 members with current branches in New Hartford, South Utica, North Utica, Herkimer, and Rome; a Member Care
Center, and online and mobile banking, the announcement added.
