First ever Taste of Oneida County
VERONA BEACH — Celebrate Oneida County through seeing, tasting and exploring at the first Taste of Oneida County event from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 1, at Verona Beach State Park.
Enjoy food trucks, breweries, winery, local artisans and crafters. Food trucks and alcohol vendors will offer tasting samples and also sell regular menu items. Most vendors accept card and cash (Note: There is no ATM in the park).
Live music will be performed by Patrick Young.
There will be a complimentary yoga glass from 7 to 8 p.m. presented by Mellow Flow Yoga. Bring your own mat.
The kids will enjoy activities including a painting table presented by Kathy’s Ceramics, Hoover Archery presented by the Powderhorn District Boy Scouts, Splash Pad will be on until 8 p.m. and swimming is open until 7 p.m.
This is a dog-friendly event as long as the dogs are on a leash.
Sylvan Beach Fire Department will be conducting a boot drive.
List of vendors are: Copper City Brewing, Villa Verona Vineyard, The Beer Wagon, 7 Hamlets Brewing, Arizona Tacos, Teddy’s Treats, Mangia Macrina’s Wood Fired Pizza, Pura Vida Kettle Corn, Scott’s Tots, Motley Chew, Savage Eats Food Truck, Sarita’s Food Truck, The Healthy Choice, Brake From the Grind, Squeezers Lemonade, Cowboy BBQ, Doughboy’s BBQ, Gary’s Restaurant, Kathy’s Ceramics, Lovely Essentials, Lotus Bear Ceramics, Liquid Raynbow Glass, Retro Sorrento, Custom Designs by Deanna, Silver Dove Creations, Daisies Won’t Tell Creations, Poplar Creek Farm, On Target Maple and Ella’s Room Children’s Consignment.
The park is located at 6541 Lakeshore Road South, Verona Beach. There is free entry into the park after 5 p.m. This event will take place rain or shine.
