First baby of new year born in Oneida Health

NEW YEAR WELCOMING — Jesse and Catherine Polisse, of Canastota, welcomed their daughter, the first baby of the new year born in Oneida Health, at 3 a.m. in New Year’s Day, Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022. Baby Josephine, who arrived at Oneida Health’s Lullaby Center, weighed 5 pounds, 7 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long. As part of an annual tradition at the hospital, Jesse and Catherine were presented with a small gift from the Oneida Health Auxiliary to help with newborn essentials.
