TOWN OF VIENNA — Two people have been displaced after a fire at their RV turned residence on Saltzman Road on Saturday.
McConnellsville Fire Chief Carl Finen said the cause remains under investigation after a fire sparked inside an RV that had been transformed into a permanent home on Saltzman Road. The chief said no one was injured. “It was more of a small structure than a vehicle fire,” Finen explained. “When we pulled up, it was fully involved.”
A couple lived at the 30-foot RV and called in the fire at 12:57 p.m. Saturday. The chief said the flames were knocked down in about 30 minutes. The American Red Cross is assisting the displaced couple.
The McConnellsville and Vienna fire departments responded.
