Finalists named for Business of the Year

UTICA — The Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce has selected the finalists for the 2021 Business of the Year Awards. The winners will be announced at their annual Business of the Year Awards Luncheon.

The event will be held at noon on Thursday, Dec. 9, at Twin Ponds Golf & Country Club in New York Mills. 

Networking, holiday music, and beverage tasting begins at 11 a.m. 

Additionally, following last year’s televised event, a recap will be aired later that month on CBS-Utica. Awards will be presented to winners in five separate categories.

Finalists were evaluated and selected based on:

Staying power;

Commitment to the Mohawk Valley Region; and

Involvement in the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce.

The Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce has announced the following finalists for the 2021 Business of the Year Awards:

Business With Fewer Than
50 Employees:

Bradley and Bradley Real Estate;

BME- Business Machines & Equipment, Inc.; and

GreenScapes Garden Center & Landscape Co.

Not-for-Profit,
Fewer Than
50 Employees:

Herkimer Housing Authority Stone Ridge Residences;

United Way of the Mohawk Valley; and

Utica Zoo.

Business With More
Than 50 Employees:

Casa Imports;

CONMED; and

Indium Corporation.

Not-for-Profit With More than 50 Employees:

Helio Health;

GPO Federal Credit Union; and

The House of the Good Shepherd.

Catalyst Rising Business:

AirWell, LLC;

The Hub Eatery; and

Primary Urgent Care.
