Posted

ORISKANY — The Oriskany Farmers Market will open for the first time Wednesday, June 8.

The market will take place from 2 to 7 p.m. each Wednesday through the end of September in Trinkaus Park at 420 Utica St.

Planning Committee members said they hope the market will help bring quality local goods and foods to the community, as well as introduce a regular venue to visit with friends and neighbors in an outdoor setting.

There are currently 18 vendors registered for the market: The Land at Cider Street Farms, Zeina’s Gyro Queen, Oriskany Fire Department, To-Go Pierogi Station, LaBella Flowers, Anomalie, Jill’s Creations, Stitches Niche, McMyler Holistic Healing, Oh My Fabulous Dog, Cottonwood Homemade, Impish Illustrations, Free Flow Farm, Cheese Filled Company, Motley Chew, Pure Country Farms, Dawn’s Doodads, Car’s Clay Art and Horn Family Farm.

Booths are still available for those interested in becoming a vendor. A full season permit is $100, or a single-day permit costs $25. Farmers, crafters, artisans and food trucks are all welcome.

Musicians interested in playing at the market are also encouraged to send their booking information. Contact Oriskany Village Office at 315-736-3512 or visit: Oriskany.org for more information.
