HAMILTON — The Madison County Farm Service Agency (FSA) Farm Loan Team will host Farm Loan Office Hours in the Madison County office beginning on Thursday, Jan. 5.

On Thursdays, a loan officer will be on hand to answer questions and help with your farm loan needs. Residents are reminded to call ahead for an appointment. The office is located at 6503 Wes Road.

Agricultural producers can now change election and enroll in the Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage program.

Enrollment has begun and will end March 15, 2023. CCC-866, Appendix contains the terms and conditions of the CCC-866 ARC/PLC Contract. Producers can receive a copy by mail, email, or directly from farmers.gov.

County Committee elections are over and ballots have been counted. Jody Palmer of Hubbardsville was elected to represent local administrative area (LAA) #3.

Palmer previously served on the committee as Advisor to the Committee and was elected in a special election in 2020. County Committee members impact producers through their decision-making and help shape the culture of a local FSA office.
