CLINTON — The Fair Trade Shop at Stone Presbyterian Church, 8 S. Park Row, is featuring items from UPAVIM’s (Unidas Para Vivir Major/United for a Better Life) mission to support the women of La Esperanza, Guatemala in their fight for better economic, health care and educational opportunities for themselves, their families and their community.
The oven mitt, potholders and worry dolls are all made by women in the UPAVIM organization. These and more handmade items from 38 different countries are available for purchase at the Fair Trade Shop.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. every Thursday; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the second Saturday of the month.
