Event raises funds for Arc Herkimer
LITTLE FALLS — The sun was shining down on Arc Herkimer as the agency held its annual golf open at the MV Golf & Event Center, 6069 Route 5, recently. The event featured 144 golfers who played 18 holes of captain and crew golf and received a buffet dinner and commemorative gifts.
Other activities at the fundraiser included men’s and ladies’ longest drive, closest to the pin, hole-in-one, and putting contests.
“The Arc Herkimer Golf Open is a fantastic fundraising event that not only helps us raise crucial funds for our supports and services, but also provides us with a chance to connect with the community,” said Kevin Crosley, president/CEO at Arc Herkimer. “We are fortunate to host the tournament at our MV Golf & Event Center, one of our seven divisions, where we are able to provide exciting employment and program opportunities to individuals with disabilities.”
The tournament’s winning team also represented the event championship sponsor, the Alera Group – Relph Benefit Advisors.
