Joanne Servello, a local evangelist, will speak at a meeting at Redeemer Church on Herkimer Road, Utica, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23. The meeting will also include time of worship. Servello said she is convinced that God has something special in mind for those who attend this meeting, and she encourages people to bring friends and loved ones who need a healing touch from God.
She and her family have experienced several miracles in their lives. Once Servello experienced her first encounter with the miraculous healing powers of Jesus, she became a devout believer in Him. She has not relented in telling everyone that she meets about the light and love of Christ.
Redeemer Church (formerly known as Mt. Zion Ministries Church) began in Servello’s living room many years ago and now has church services in multiple locations. Her son, Pastor Michael Servello Sr. (featured on two TBN programs) served as senior pastor of Redeemer for well over three decades. He also founded Compassion Coalition where he now works full-time as this ministry continues to grow in its service to the community and beyond.
Servello’s grandson, Pastor Michael Servello Jr., is currently the senior pastor of the church which now has campuses in Utica, Rome, Albany, and Syracuse. The church’s service times and locations may be found at myredeemerchurch.com.
