Enzo, the handsome Siberian (husky), looking for someone special

Posted

Hi! I am Enzo. I was brought into the Rome Humane Society Shelter as a stray. I am 3-years old and a Keeshond/Siberian husky mix.

The staff says that I have a wonderful temperament, and I love everything they do for me. I like to talk to the staff though when I am not given enough attention! I love cuddles, scratches and being petted all over. I play with every toy that I am given and I walk well on a leash. I even will dance on my back hind legs to let everyone know how happy I am when it comes time for a walk.

I will also step right up for treats and any yummy foods placed in my dish. The staff says I may do well in a home with children, but a visit is best from a family to determine how it will go. I will need someone/family who is willing to be patient as I learn to trust them. Once my adoption is decided, and the person/family who is interested and approved, must agree to take me to my upcoming neutering appointment that is fully paid for by the Shelter.

Thank you and I look forward to any interest (hoping!)

Love, Enzo

Cat’s Pride Litter Program

The Rome Humane Society Shelter participates in the Cat’s Pride Litter for Good Program, and has received 4,000 pounds of cat litter due to nominations from the community. This is an ongoing promotion. The more nominations, the more litter we receive. Litter as you can imagine, is a great expense, so this program is a wonderful savings for the shelter, officials say.

The public is invited to participate as follows:

1. Go to catspride.com and sign up for the free Cat’s Pride Club

2. Click on the “Nominate” button to help us receive litter.

3. Enter bonus code: 4GOOD and you will double your shelter nomination.

4. Buy a green jug of Cat’s Pride Fresh and Light – every time you do, another pound of litter is added to the total amount donated.

Purina points weight circles

Help the Humane Society of Rome earn points when you purchase Purina brand products, and collect weight circles.

Simply cut and save the circles from participating Purina brand dog foods you have purchased and bring to the shelter.

We save the weight circles and submit in bulk. Purina will send the Humane Society a check good towards future purchase of dog food. This saves the shelter the large amount on food.
