Empowered Pathways will continue to offer their women’s employment and dispute resolution programs while complying with the state mandate for non-essential employees to stay at home.
Empowered Pathways will use the internet to offer their continued services online, including their Surrogate Decision Making Committee, according to Kathy Peters, the employment training and outreach coordinator. This is to ensure the safety of staff and clients.
“We are very concerned about the women who have become unemployed as a result of this pandemic and remain committed to offering job placement and training services in this difficult time,” Peters said in a release.
Empowered Pathways also offers mediation services, including for custody and visitation, divorce, and for parents and teens.
Empowered Pathways was created through the merger of the Women’s Employment & Resource Center and The Peacemaker Program. For more information, visit their website at www.emploweredpathwayscny.org or call 315-724-1718.
