Employee charged with stealing at Rome KFC
ROME — An assistant manager at the KFC restaurant in Rome is accused of stealing a bank deposit, according to the Rome Police Department.
Police said Nancy L. Dole, 36, of Blossvale, worked as an assistant manager at the KFC on Dec. 12 when she stole $2,157 in a bank deposit. The discrepancy was noticed by another employee on Dec. 21, who reviewed bank records and store security cameras to catch the theft.
Following an investigation, Dole was taken into custody on Friday on one count of felony fourth-degree grand larceny, police stated. She is scheduled to appear in Rome City Court.
