FLOYD — The Floyd Grange will hold its annual Election Day Bake Sale on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 9 a.m. in Floyd Town Hall.
Cookies, cakes, donuts and pies will be available.
There will also be a “Pie a Month for Four Months” drawing, with the winner to receive coupons for four pies of their choice, redeemable at any time. Tickets for the drawing are $1 or six tickets for $5. Some of the proceeds from the drawing will benefit the New York State Grange’s “Anything Goes” Fund, which finances the organization’s special projects.
The election day bake sale, say organizers, is the Floyd Grange’s primary fundraiser.
Proceeds will benefit the grange’s community service projects and basic expenses. Recent community projects include sponsoring the Rome Hunger Walk and maintaining an educational display booth at the Boonville-Oneida County Fair.
