Edna M. (DeLaroche) Graham

Edna Mae DeLaRoche Graham went home to the Lord on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. She was born on Sep. 3, 1927 to Herman and Edith Walker DeLaRoche. In 1945 she married the late Francis N. Graham, Sr. Together they raised five children: Francis Jr. (Diane) of Georgia, Judy (Dewey) Carver of Camden, Joan (David) Hoffman of North Carolina, Ed (Nancy) of Camden, and David of Camden. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; two sisters Bertha Clarke and Mary LaFave, and one brother Arthur DeLaRoche; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a special friend and sister in the Lord, Marilyn Fragapane.

Edna lived her early life on Walker Road at the homestead farm. She enjoyed numerous trips and outings over the years with her beloved sisters. She is predeceased by two sisters Elsie Grinnell and Millie Chamberlain and four brothers, John, Herm, George and Ernie.

She was very proud of all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Living Hope Assembly of God in Camden. She was devoted to prayer for others and loved singing the old hymns. She wrote several articles and originated the “Thought for Today” column in the Queen Central News Paper, later carried on by her sister.

The family would like to thank the Betsy Ross Nursing Facility in Rome for their years of dedicated care.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 14, at 1 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden. Interment will take place in Hillside Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Friday prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home at one time, everyone must wear a face covering upon entering and proper social distancing protocols must be adhered to once inside.
