WEST TURIN — A 26-year-old man was ticketed for drunken driving following a crash in Lewis County Sunday night, according to the Lewis County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff's deputies said Timothy Hickey, 26, of Fort Drum, was involved in a one-vehicle crash on Route 26 in West Turin around 9 p.m. Sunday. Hickey failed several field sobriety tests and registered a blood alcohol content of 0.24%, three times the legal threshold of 0.08%, authorities stated.

Hickey is charged with one count each of driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and an open container violation, deputies said. He is scheduled to appear in West Turin Town Court.
