Dunkin’ announced the results of its recent Iced Coffee Day campaign with a donation of $36,000 to Food Bank of Central New York.
During the one-day event on May 22, Dunkin’ franchisees donated $1 from every cup of Iced Coffee sold at participating Dunkin’ restaurants in Central New York to Food Bank of Central New York. Iced Coffee Day has generated more than $186,000 for Central New York charities since 2012.
“Dunkin’ is thrilled to continue to support Food Bank of Central New York through our annual Iced Coffee Day program. This donation is a direct reflection of the community support engendered by the Food Bank, an organization so vital to families in need,” said Dunkin’ Integrated Marketing Manager Eric Stensland.
“I would like to thank all of our guests who joined us on Iced Coffee Day to help raise funds for Food Bank of Central New York,” he added.
Food Bank of Central New York serves as the primary food supplier to the emergency food network, comprised of 280 partner agencies, within an eleven-county service area across Central and Northern New York.
The Food Bank will provide more than 15 million pounds of nutritious food this year – the equivalent of 12.5 million meals – to hungry families, children, and seniors.
“The community really came together to show their support on Iced Coffee Day,” said Kathleen Stress, Executive Director, Food Bank of Central New York. “Thank you to all who participated to make the day a successful one. We are so thrilled that Dunkin raised $36,000 to help provide 108,000 meals for individuals and families in need.”
Dunkin’ keeps Central New York residents running all day long with Iced Coffee, both at home and on the go. Guests can customize their Iced Coffee in Dunkin’ restaurants to be just the way they like it, with different dairy, sweetener and flavor options.
