FRANKFORT — A Vernon woman has been charged with driving while intoxicated in Herkimer County, according to the Village of Frankfort Police Benevolent Association.

Authorities said they received a call to check the welfare of 24-year-old Andrea C. Munoz-Castiblanco, of Vernon, while she was in Frankfort on Sunday. Authorities said the officers found Munoz-Castiblanco and it was discovered that she had been driving under the influence of alcohol.

Munoz-Castiblanco is charged with one count each of driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI, authorities stated. She was released on appearance tickets to Frankfort Town Court.
