TOWN OF WATSON — A Lewis County man has been charged with drunken driving after law enforcers said he struck several parked cars at Miller's Meat Market Friday afternoon.
Sheriff's deputies said Timothy A. Gorczyca, 61, of Center Street, Lyons Falls, was backing out of a parking spot at the meat market at about 2:10 p.m. when his 2005 Ford F-150 pickup truck hit a parked car. Deputies said Gorczyca hit two more parked cars in the lot before leaving the scene.
A witness called 9-1-1 and deputies found Gorczyca later at his home. Deputies said he registered a blood alcohol content of 0.13%.
Gorczyca is charged with driving while intoxicated, unsafe backing and leaving the scene of an accident, authorities said. He was released on appearance tickets town Town Court.
