Drug possession charges follow Rome traffic stop
ROME — A Rome woman was charged with possessing subscription medication in an unmarked bottle during a traffic stop, according to the Rome Police Department.
Police said Brandy L. Santana, 42, was pulled over for vehicle violations on East Dominick Street at 8 p.m. Sept. 3. Once stopped, police said Santana was found with an unmarked pill bottle containing 13 Oxycodone pills.
Santana is charged with one count each of seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and suspended registration, police said. She is scheduled to appear in Rome City Court.
