Drone 1.0 STEM Summer Camp program held at Griffiss
GUIDING HANDS — Rowynn Whyte of Chicago, at right, guides her drone through part of an obstacle course this morning under the watchful eye of instructor Bill Judycki, at left, during a Drone 1.0 STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) Summer Camp program. She was among about 20 students at the program, with other participating students from such locations as Verona, New Hartford, Oneida, Syracuse and Rochester. Today’s activities, at the NUAIR nose dock at Griffiss airport, concluded the weeklong camp that also included sessions at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica.
