Driver faces multiple charges after fleeing from deputies

TOWN OF GREIG — A Lewis County man is accused of speeding and fleeing from law enforcement officers Saturday night.

Sheriff’s deputies said Dylan R. Brown, 35, of 6955 Fish Creek Road, Lyons Falls, was spotted on Lyons Falls Road at about 9:49 p.m. Saturday traveling at 92 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputies gave chase and said Brown continued to speed through the Town of Lyonsdale into the Town of Greig, where he refused to pull over for the pursuing officers.

Deputies said Brown eventually pulled into his home driveway, where he was taken into custody. Authorities said Brown registered a blood alcohol content of 0.10%.

Brown is charged with one count each of driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or greater, failure to comply, failure to keep right, two counts of speeding and one open container violation, deputies stated. He was released on an appearance ticket for Town Court.

Brown was also ticketed to appear in Lyonsdale Town Court on another charge of speeding, authorities stated.
